本研究利用随访时间长的大样本数据探讨了LTCs数量和特定的共病模式与ACD、AD和VD发病风险的关系,更有力地论证了共病与痴呆的关系。此外,研究人员利用聚类分析算法来研究某一特定人群的整体健康状况,有利于特定人群的疾病预防。不过,该研究未能探索参与者所使用药物的相互作用,也未能跟踪随访期间共病状态的变化。
总的来说,本研究所提出的共病模式有助于更好地理解共病与痴呆之间的关系。及时识别特定模式下的共病并预防疾病的累积发生,对痴呆的一级预防有重要意义,这将有利于优化老年人的医疗资源配置。
